Initially, this blog was made for me to post my projects for Curt Mega’s art-based community project (Project: Create), but when the challenge was done, Cherry Blossom became a space to share my thoughts and my sources of inspirations.
But again, this blog changed its purpose as it is now a way to share what I learnt, I am learning and what I will learn from the two most important women in my life: my mother and my sister. My mother is teaching me how to become a better person and that it is important to follow our dreams. My sister teaches me how important it is to be myself and how fulfilling it is to create. This blog is kind of an homage to them. Thank you girls to be such great teachers!
But why does Cherry Blossom have a pink background? Partly because of the flower’s color, but mostly because of Darren Criss’ answer when we was asked about which shade of color would he choose to see the world in: “Pink. Because it would be really funny. ‘Cause then really mean people wouldn’t look so mean.” Cherry Blossom is a space for us to see the world less meaner.
You too can contribute to this Tumblr by asking questions or by sharing your dreams with me. You can visit the other pages of this site to see what you can do.
I hope you will become as inspired in your life as I am in mine.
Forever,
K.
